Hosted annually by MCRH since 2016 and presented by SafeTech Solutions, the Foundation in Leadership course is a five-day, forty-hour, immersive leadership development program designed for current and aspiring EMS leaders at every level. Participants gain practical skills to strengthen teams, build positive workplace cultures, improve employee engagement, and confidently lead organizational change.
Through interactive discussions, case studies, and real-world scenarios, the course equips supervisors, managers, directors, and executives with tools they can immediately apply in their organizations. Topics include communication, accountability, conflict resolution, leadership development, and workforce retention.

High-quality documentation is one of the most important responsibilities of every EMS professional. Hosted by MCRH annually since 2020 and presented by NAAC (National Academy of Ambulance Compliance), the Certified Ambulance Documentation Specialist (CADS) course provides EMTs, paramedics, supervisors, QA/QI personnel, and EMS leaders with the knowledge and skills to create clear, accurate, and compliant patient care reports.
Participants learn documentation best practices that support quality patient care, reduce legal risk, improve regulatory compliance, and facilitate accurate reimbursement. This course emphasizes clinical narratives, medical necessity, documentation standards, and common documentation errors through practical, real-world examples.
Whether you are a new provider or an experienced EMS professional, CADS helps strengthen documentation practices, enhance professionalism, and improve the overall quality and integrity of your agency's patient care records.
Two-hundred five participants have completed the CADS training hosted by MCRH so far, and we look forward to hosting future courses!
