Together With Veterans

 

The UP Together With Veterans team is partnering with County Veteran Affairs across the UP to bring resources to Veterans, their families, and their caregivers. Please register for the events where you would like to have a resource table.

Free to all Veterans, First Responders, Guidance Counselors, Mental Health Professionals, Community Members - Recommended age 18 yrs or older!

This invitation is intended for Service Providers / Organizations who wish to host a table at the event. This invitation is not intended for the general public, who will be invited through other advertising

This invitation is focused on organizations, including government entities and currently elected officials, that PROVIDE SERVICES TO VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES. This is NOT intended for POLITICAL GROUPS. The Houghton County Veteran Service Office reserves the right to refuse participation for organizations that are determined to not fit this description or that may be better suited for other events.

Together With Veterans (TWV) is a community-based suicide prevention program for rural Veterans. TWV involves partnering with rural Veterans and their communities to implement community-based suicide prevention. TWV is funded by the Veterans Administration Office of Rural Health.
