About Us
The Northern Michigan Opioid Response Consortium (NMORC) is a 32-member Consortium addressing the opioid epidemic in a 16-county region including Alcona, Alpena, Cheboygan, Clare, Crawford, Gladwin, Kalkaska, Lake, Missaukee, Montmorency, Ogemaw, Oscoda, Otsego, Presque Isle, Roscommon, and Wexford counties of rural northern Michigan. NMORC consists of the healthcare facilities in the targeted 16-county region, including all hospitals, hospital affiliated clinics, Federally Qualified Health Centers, Community Mental Health agencies, and Local Public Health agencies. In addition, the NMORC membership includes the Michigan Center for Rural Health, the regions’ Prepaid Inpatient Health Plan (Northern Michigan Regional Entity), a recovery support provider (Ten16 Recovery Network), and one of only two SAMSHA certified Opiate Treatment Providers (Northern Michigan Substance Abuse Services) in all of Northern Michigan.
